MyySports is a phygital application designed to empower sports enthusiasts, particularly young players aged 19-25, by providing them with a platform to create, manage, and participate in cricket and football tournaments. Home Screen
Users can easily select their preferred sport, whether it's football or cricket, to tailor their experience within the app. By analyzing their sports preferences and location, the app curates a personalized feed of relevant tournaments and matches.
Tournaments
To foster community engagement, we introduced the feature that allows users to create both single matches and full tournaments. This empowers users to take an active role in organizing events, from small, casual games to larger, more competitive tournaments. They can easily invite others, form teams, and share their matches or tournaments with their network.
Through user interviews, we discovered users struggled to integrate previously created single matches into tournaments. To solve this, we added a feature allowing users to search and select existing matches with the same players and officials, reducing redundancy. This streamlined the process, preventing the hassle of re-creating details, while still offering the option to create new matches if needed.
Match The Day Experience
The Match of the Day Experience (MDE) screens provide users with an immersive real-time view of ongoing matches. Users can watch live streams, check player stats, view scores, and read live commentary—all in one place. The MDE screens not only enhance user engagement by keeping them connected to the match as it unfolds, but also offer a rich, interactive experience that goes beyond passive viewing. This feature allows users to comment and interact with other viewers, fostering a sense of community, while also offering valuable insights and updates on their favorite teams and players.
Myy TV
The MyyTV screen showcases short sports reels in an endless scroll format, much like Instagram, optimized for quick consumption. This feature highlights local athletes, aligning with our goal to promote emerging talent and provide them with visibility. MyyTV enables users to easily discover, share, and celebrate standout performances, helping local players gain recognition and a wider audience.
